Federal Reserve V.P. Grilled at House Hearing on Hundreds of Billions in Fed Loans to Wall Street

“Since September 17, the Federal Reserve, through its New York Fed branch, has been funneling hundreds of billions of dollars each week to Wall Street’s trading houses, intervening in what had been a private overnight lending operation (called repurchase agreements or repo loans) between banks and other financial institutions. Since September 17, the Fed loans have grown in both size and duration with some loans extended out as far as 42 days – suggesting to many on Wall Street that there is one or more banks in trouble that peer banks simply don’t want to lend to. The Fed, however, has stuck to the mantra that this is just a routine response to a liquidity blip.”

Anyone else smell BS?!

Clearly the biggest banks are hoarding cash in preparation for a change over as the less solvent go under on Wall Street and around the world.

The silver lining in this mess is when the Insurance Companies go down with Wall Street it will clear the US books for a clean Medicare for all launch.  We will also get a window to fund Public Banks with a Treasury issued currency that will only be good in the US: Greenbacks. A currency that unhooks from the global US dollar as the world’s reserve currency: The IMFs SDR based on the value of a “basket of currencies” will launch.

I could be dreaming, but if mankind could wake up enough to OCCUPY all financial districts across the globe demanding a Jubilee for All: full debt forgiveness as a fiat world currency resets values could be. Imagine. A world in which all labor hired by outside countries has a universal value. A day’s work equals the same for each job done across the world; regardless of country.  Imagine.
